Macedonian Radio and Television (MRTV)
MRTV got the status of a public broadcaster by the Parliament in 1993. Macedonian Television station produces news as well as educative, cultural, entertainment and documentary programmes. Macedonian Television has three channels. The first one is focused on news, the second offers programs in minorities’ languages – Albanian, Turkish, Roma, Vlach, Serbian and Bosnian. The third one is a Parliamentary channel. MRT started satellite broadcasting in 2000.

Alsat-M is a private television in Albanian language with national coverage, launched in 2006. It is owned by VEVE - Group D.O.E.L. The network received a national television license and is the only channel that broadcasts the same programme in both Albanian and Macedonian languages.

Kanal5 is a news channel, launched in 2007 and owned by the sons of Boris Stojmenov, a businessman and former finance minister from VMRO-DPMNE. It airs news, sports events and lifestyle bulletins.
