Legal affairs 2022 in the Northern region
Addressing the conference "Legal Affairs in the Northern Regions in 2022", Vice Minister of Justice Phan Chi Hieu acknowledged the challenges and obstacles for institutions and entities providing legal services.
The conference in Hanoi was co-organized by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Vietnam and the Ministry of Justice - Department of General Affairs on Legislative Development. More than 200 participants from 20 northern provinces joined online and onsite.
This conference was an opportunity for the Ministry of Justice to listen to the reports and feedback of provincial judicial organs and legal practitioners from institutions such as Ministry of National Defense, State Bank of Vietnam, Vietnam Electricity Corporation. In the discussion session, representatives from other ministries and provincial institutions raised their opinions and shared the difficulties they encountered when applying the Decree No. 55/2011/ND-CP. These feedbacks will serve for the process of amending and supplementing the aforementioned decree to ensure feasibility, suitable to the context and practical situation
With the objective of improving skills for legal worker, the afternoon session of today's event focused on professional training regarding impact assessment of administrative procedure in Normative Legal Documents (NLDs) making.
After two legal affairs conferences at the national level, it is recognized that ensuring the human resources for legal affairs services is a concern for the Government and the Prime Minister; the Government has made strong commitments to get more comprehensive and innovative solutions to improve the quality of legal services.
