Experience has shown that most citizens are not aware on most of the functions of the government. This may make it difficult when it comes to advocacy and lobbying for government services, which one does not understand in the first place. On 21st -23rd April 2019, KAS held an advocacy training for community mobilisers to discuss the basic functioning of the government and how citizens can take part in the same.
