The Age of Digital Interdependence

Multi-stakeholder forum on the Report of the UN Secretary General’s High-level Panel on Digital Cooperation

UN Secretary-General António Guterres has launched a High-Level Panel on Digital Cooperation with the aim to identify good examples and propose modalities for working cooperatively across sectors, disciplines and borders to address challenges in the digital age. The report of the UN Secretary General’s High-Level Panel on Digital Cooperation makes a set of actionable recommendations in different fields of digitalisation Konrad Adenauer Stiftung has been asked by the United Nations to support the UN’s inquiry about the countries‘ perspectives on the suggestions made by the UN Secretary General’s High-Level Panel on Digital Cooperation.

Thus, the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, together with  the Bangladesh Institute for Peace and Security Studies will hold a workshop in Dhaka where we have invited multistakeholders to discuss the report’s results. The subsequent report by KAS about these multi-stakeholder discussions will form the basis for comments on the UN report’s findings. This is a unique opportunity to directly engage and transport perspectives to the United Nations.
