Young people are key actors in the change of agenda that occurred over the past few years in many member countries of the European Union. The recent importance given to Climate Change is the best example of that. Yet, to canalise these efforts into the consolidation of a brand new agenda, young people and youth organisations must empower themselves through the debate of subjects that are decisive for the future of the Union. At the same time, young people must be aware about the different perceptions and interests in EU’s member states with regard to single issues and they must participate in the effort to overcome disagreements and to find common solutions.
The GRID4EUROPE bring together a group of 30 young European citizens with a background of political and social engagement. The purpose of this project is to disseminate knowledge about relevant issues of the European agenda and at the same empower young people from the EU member countries to shape the agenda of the European Union through new ideas and new forms of understanding.
This programme's discussions will be focused on climate change, fighting corruption and social policies. It includes also interactive workshops for political negotiation and digital democracy.
