Bulgarian Journalists receive 'Disgraceful Attacks' By Bulgarian authorities

Reporters without Borders (ROG) condemns Bulgarian authorities for trying to intimidate journalists.

ROG is referring with this mainly to a conference by Prime Minister Boyko Borissov on February 4, where he compared journalists to turkeys and, in an attempt to mock them, tried to imitate the gobbling of a turkey for a few seconds. Further examples where Bulgarian authorities intimidate journalists are being criticised as well.
