Teleradio-Moldova is the public service of broadcasting and television in the Republic of Moldova. Its first TV channel Moldova 1 was founded in 1951, in the Soviet era. It has a nationwide coverage and broadcasts in Romanian, Russian, and different minorities’ languages.

The first private TV Company in Moldova. It was launched in 1999 by Central European Media Enterprises. Pro TV Chisinau has a regional coverage. Broadcasts its own programmes in Romanian and rebroadcasts other programmes produced by Pro TV Romania.

RTR Moldova is rebroadcasting the state channel of the Russian Federation Россия 1 / Russia 1. It broadcasts news, movies, entertainment shows in Russian language. The majority of the content is rebroadcasted from Russian Federation.

TV 8

A private TV channel, founded as TV 7 in 2006. TV 8 broadcasts in Romanian and Russian, mainly evening newscasts. The rest of the day, the station rebroadcasts programmes of NTV channel from Russia. In 2017, it changed its name to TV 8 during a rebranding.
