Die Slowakei hat gewählt
Gut sechs Monate nach der vorgezogenen Parlamentswahl sind die Menschen in der Slowakei aufgerufen, ein neues Staatsoberhaupt zu wählen. Da die amtierende Präsidentin Zuzana Čaputová aus persönlichen Gründen nicht mehr antritt, wird es in jedem Fall einen neuen Hausherren im Palais Grassalkovich, dem Amtssitz des Staatspräsidenten, geben.

This event takes a look at Australia and a partnership that has gained strate-gic importance in recent times and ought to be further deepened in the coming years.

In this online format, we follow parliamentary and/or presidential elections in European countries and exchange views with our on site KAS colleagues on the morning after each election about the most important devel-opments on election day. This time we take a look at Albania, where Parliamentary Elections are scheduled for 25 April 2021.

Wir laden Sie herzlich zu einem Gespräch mit Sabine Verheyen, Mitglied des Europäischen Parlaments, Christian Spahr, Generalsekretär der Versammlung der Regionen Europas, und Corvin Wilichowski, Freiwilliger im Rahmen der CSCE Initiative, am 22. April 2021 um 18.00 Uhr ein. Die Diskussion wird von Boris Jaros, CSCE, moderiert und kommentiert.

Bulgaria has voted
The European Office of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung is delighted to invite you to the next session of our event format "The Morning After". In this online format, we are monitoring the Parliamentary and/or Presidential Elections in Euro-pean states and discuss the results with our KAS colleagues in the respective country. Furthermore, we try to assess the implications the results could have for the country’s relationship with the European Union. This session will focus on Bulgaria, where the Parliamentary Elections 2021 will take place on 4 April.

In Qaraqosh, once Iraq’s largest Christian city, Pope Francis pursued his “pastoral visit”, delivering a speech before the Angelus prayer to remember the violence of the IS and to give hope to Christians in the country.

EU-Türkei-Beziehungen zwischen Kooperation und Provokation
Das Europabüro der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung freut sich sehr, Sie zum vierten Event unseres Veranstal-tungsformates “KAS Europe Talks” einladen zu dürfen. In regelmäßigen Abständen organisiert das Europabüro in diesem Format eine Diskussion mit der Leiterin/dem Leiter eines anderen KAS-Auslandsbüros, in der sowohl die jüngsten Entwicklungen in den jeweiligen Ländern bzw. Regionen, als auch der Status Quo der Beziehungen zur Europäischen Union thematisiert werden. Die nächste Veranstaltung wirft einen Blick auf die Türkei und das nicht immer ganz reibungslose Verhältnis zwischen der Europäischen Union und ihrem südöstlichen Nachbarn.

Das Europabüro der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung freut sich sehr, Sie zum sechsten Event unseres Veranstaltungs-formates “Der Morgen danach” einladen zu dürfen. In diesem Online-Format begleiten wir die Parlaments- und/oder Präsidentschaftswahlen in europäischen Staaten und tauschen uns jeweils am Morgen nach der Wahl mit unseren KAS-Kolleginnen und Kollegen vor Ort über die wichtigsten Entwicklungen am Wahltag aus. Dieses Mal blicken wir auf Kosovo, wo am 14. Februar die vorgezogenen Parlamentswahlen 2021 stattfinden.
