In diesem Online-Format begleiten wir die Parlaments- und/oder Präsidentschaftswahlen in europäischen Staaten und tauschen uns jeweils am Morgen nach der Wahl mit unseren KAS-Kolleginnen und Kollegen vor Ort über die wichtigsten Entwicklungen am Wahltag aus. Dieses Mal blicken wir auf Belarus, wo am 25. Februar die Parlamentswahlen 2024 stattfinden werden.

Diesmal blicken wir auf Finnland, wo am 28. Januar die erste Runde der Präsidentschaftswahlen 2024 stattfinden wird.
25th Anniversary of the Euro – Navigating through Crisis towards Stability

The start of the new year was also the 25-year anniversary of the Euro. These 25 years were – in part – very tumultuous years. The Euro and with it also the EU has developed in unexpected ways. Its guardian, the European Central Bank, had to take on a much more active role than it had been envisioned originally. The currency itself and its image has also changed over the years. Despite the troubled start it has also become a symbol for European Unity and how close we as Europeans have grown together over the years.

In the framework of our online format “The Morning After” 💻, we analysed the outcome of the Parliamentary Election in Serbia 🇷🇸 with our colleague Jakov Devčić, Director of the KAS Offices in Serbia and Montenegro.
