This event is held to present the latest study of Prof. Yue Liling to both experts and the public. Yue Liling is Professor for criminal law at the Chinese University for Politics and Law. In her recent publication, "International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and Criminal Justice in China", she discusses the implications of the ICCPR for the Chinese criminal law system. Her study provides a profound and exhaustive overview on reforms in this field likely to be put into practice within the near future.
