On Wednesday, May 3, 2018, in partnership with the Momafon Rabiatou Njoya Foundation, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation organized a workshop on Information and Training for Women from the Communities of Western Cameroon in the fight against Climate Change.

The Prefect of the Department of Noun Mr BOYOMO Donatien took part at this meeting as well as the local elected representatives of the town halls of all the Western Region.

The objectives of this meeting were:

- Inform about major environmental issues related to Climate Change;

- To raise awareness of the legislative, institutional and legal frameworks for combating climate change;

- To raise awareness of disasters caused by climate change
