In a tripartite partnership, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung with NACOL and IMPACT for Change and Development are organizing a training seminar for senior officers of the Nigerian Army and other armed forces currently undergoing further training at the Nigerian Army College of Logistics (NACOL).

Details

Topics to be covered at this training seminar include “Civil-Military Relations and Human Rights Context in Counter Insurgency Operations in Nigeria: The Case Study of Operation Lafiya Dole“  by Prof. Gani Yoroms from National Defence College (NDC); “National Security, Sustainable  Development and Civil-Military Cooperation” by Prof. Ken Ife, visiting professor at Nigeria Defence Academy (NDA). These presentations will then be followed by a workshop in which different aspects of conflict managements will be taken by resource persons such as Air Commodore Abdullahi, Ms. Grace Atim and Mr. Valentine Kwaghimin among others. This training seminar is different from the one for the middle cadre officers in May, as this is for senior officers.
