As the world copes with the pressure of controlling the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, the need to provide accurate information has grown exponentially which has indeed become a rare commodity.
Mobile journalism has today become the primary source of information via different social media platforms like such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram challenging the traditional modes of print & news media.
Hence, in order to analyse mobile journalism further, on behalf of the KAS Media Programme Asia, we are delighted to invite you to Mobile Journalism (MOJO) Conference Asia which will be fully virtual, on 25 - 27 June 2020.
KAS Media Programme Asia has commissioned leading domain experts from Asia and beyond to produce Masterclasses, Online-Trainings, Keynotes, and Lightning Talks. During the MOJO Conference, they will showcase the most important trends of mobile reporting taking into consideration the newest developments on the tech market. The agenda also includes covering the use of Smartphones for crisis reporting and investigative journalism whilst giving tips and tricks on how to keep a healthy work-life-balance at a time in which reporters carry their "newsroom desk" inside of their pockets and place it next to their pillows when they go to sleep. The aim is also to exchange ideas on the challenges and risks of citizen journalism.
Please visit the conference website https://mojoconference.asia/ for more details.
All in all, we hope that this will be an exciting first of its kind event. There has never been a fully virtual Mojo conference before and we look forward to your participation as well as hope that you will find your mojo in this conference!
