Remembrance in Cambodia and Germany

What we can learn from a comparison

Together with GIZ Cambodia along with our experts Dr. Thomas Lutz and Ms. Farina So, we would like to invite students with major of study and interest in history to a joint workshop that exchanges the insights between Cambodia and Germany. This participatory lecture will also address why it is important for the change of the society after the period of state crimes, crimes against humanity concerning victims, perpetrators, and teaching about the past during the Nazi Period. Integrated in the discussion, participants will also assessed their prior knowledge on dealing with the past in Cambodia, what to know, and experiences gained from the workshop.
