The Catholic Justice and Peace Commission (CJPC) is a long term partner of KAS in Kenya. Over the last years many workshops on the Constitution Review Process have been conducted together observing and analyzing the process. During the last month several workshops have been conducted educating representative from the different dioceses in almost all regions of Kenya on the currently proposed constitution. Participants were taken through the document to enable them to pass on the received information to the members and communities in their dioceses. The purpose of this workshop is to develop a strategy on how to observe the upcoming referendum on 4th of August on the Proposed Constitution and how to represent the Catholic Church in Kenya during the referendum process.
