Dr. Günter Krings, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of the Interior in Germany, HE Mahmoud Abdo Hussein, member of the Egyptian Parliament and Dr. Rainer Hermann, Editor on Middle East and Islamic world news in Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), will participate, along with experts from Lebanon, to the conference on "Terrorism and Counterterrorism in the Regional Context" to further explore the rise of extremism and terrorism in the region and draw upon recommendations to hinder the creation and development of extremist factions and organizations.
