The event focussed on planning and project management. From Germany, the KAS Team Asia and Pacific was represented by Kim Tan. In addition to its executive director Dr. Violet Valdez and several employees of the Konrad Adenauer Asian Center for Journalism (ACFJ) at the Ateneo de Manila University as well as staff from the editorial office of the Asia News Network (ANN) in Bangkok, Kim Ying Pung, president of the Society of Asian Journalists (SAJ) and media representatives of the Wall Street Journal Asia, and Alastair Carthew for the Political Communication Network Asia-Pacific (PCNAP) attended the event in Singapore.
