The 15th PRO PR Conference will take place from 6th to 9th April 2017 in Tuheljske Toplice (Croatia). The biggest international PR event in South East Europe will bring together about two hundred communication experts.

Interview for the Albanian daily "Panorama"

The Director of the KAS country office Albania, Walter Glos, and the Director of the KAS Media Program South East Europe, Christian Spahr, gave a joint interview for the Albanian daily "Panorama". The focus is on current political topics such as the political situation before the elections in June 2017 and the cooperation of KAS with the Democratic Party of Albania (DP) for the development of its economic policy and its communication strategy.

Neues KAS-Buch zu Journalistenausbildung

Erste internationale Studie unter Studenten in Südosteuropa

Die Arbeitsgruppe „Journalistenausbildung“ des KAS-Medienprogramms Südosteuropa hat ein neues Fachbuch veröffentlicht. Es basiert auf einer Umfrage unter Studenten zu deren Motivation, Journalismus zu studieren. Die Studie wurde von Februar bis März 2015 in Albanien, Bulgarien, Kroatien, Rumänien und Serbien mit 531 Studenten staatlicher und privater Universitäten durchgeführt. Die Ergebnisse und das Buch werden während des South East Europe Media Forum am 22. November 2016 in Belgrad vorgestellt.

The CEI and the South East Europe Media Organisation, in special partnership with the Media Program South East Europe of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, have announced the winners of the "CEI SEEMO Award for Outstanding Merits in Investigative Journalism 2016": Lindita Çela in the section "Professional Journalists" and Artsiom Harbatsevich in the section "Young Professional Journalists".

Call for applications open

The call for applications for the Summer School of Investigative Reporting 2016 has started. The seminar will take place from 21 until 27 August in Konjic, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Host organisations are the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN) and the Media Program South East Europe of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.
