Björn Dressel, a German graduate in Law and a Political Economist, is presently doing his PhD at The Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, John Hopkins University, Washington and is an expert in constitutionalism in Southeast Asian and African countries. Before he came to the Philippines, he was on a 7-week study trip in Thailand to look into and generate more insights on the Thai experience.

The presentation of Mr. Dressel will focus on the process, major goals, relevant areas of concern and some significant results of the constitutional change in Thailand.
