Renewed Mediterranean Agenda: Partnerships for Efficiency, Synergies for Positive Impact

To mark the 10th anniversary of KAS PolDiMed, a regional conference titled “Renewed Mediterranean Partnerships for Efficiency, Synergies for Positive Impact” took place from December 3 to 6, 2025, in Tunisia. The event brought together partners, experts, and stakeholders from across the Mediterranean to celebrate a decade of dialogue and discuss the way forward in shaping a shared vision such an exercise requires exploring new forms of cooperation at the institutional, civil society, business, and local levels.

The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung's Regional Programme on Energy Security and Climate Change in the Middle East and North Africa (KAS-REMENA) joined forces again with the Policy Center for the New South to convene the second meeting of the Mediterranean Energy Experts Circle. Held in Rabat, Morocco from April 22nd to 24th, 2024, the meeting focused on the topic of "Shaping a Resilient and Cooperative Mediterranean Energy Transition: Lessons Learned and New Challenges."

Launch of the MENA Chapter of the Parliamentary Network for Climate (P4C)

On Tuesday, February 13th, 2024, the regional conference titled "Uniting for Climate Action in the Middle East and North Africa Region" was held in Rabat. The event was organized by the Parliamentarians for Climate network (P4C), the Regional Program for Energy Security and Climate Change in the Middle East and North Africa (KAS-REMENA), and the ATLAS Dynamics Association.

Öffentliche Diskussion mit deutschen und libyschen Stimmen

Am 19. August 2021 fand ein Online-Seminar statt, um die Bedeutung von Familienunternehmen für den wirtschaftlichen Fortschritt zu erörtern und die Rolle, die sie in Deutschland als Rückgrat der Wirtschaft spielen, sowie ihr Potenzial für den sich erholenden libyschen Markt hervorzuheben. Die hochinteressante Veranstaltung, an der zahlreiche libysche Familienunternehmer teilnahmen, stand unter der Schirmherrschaft von S.E. Salama Gwil, libyscher Staatsminister für Wirtschaft.
