Population mobility increases with economic development and globalization.

Migration affects countries in many way - socially, economically as well as politically. Dr. Ananta and Dr. Arifin will summarize the main findings of the publication entitled "International Migration in Southeast Asia" which examines this phenomenon from economic, social and political perspectives.

At the end of the seminar the book will be launched. Konrad Adenauer Stiftung has provided the financial support of the ISEAS research project that resulted in this publication.
