The 3rd Asian Law Institute conference will be held at the East China University of Politics and Law (ECUPL) in Shanghai/China. The theme explored is “The Development of Law in Asia: Convergence versus Divergence?”, and the conference will touch on several wide-ranging issues and sub-themes regarding regional legal issues in Asia. Topics range from, inter alia, WTO and Regional Co-operation; Financial Law; Jurisprudence and Higher Education of Law; IP and E-Commerce; International Law and International Human Rights; Dispute Resolution and Business Law. Legal experts from Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, DPR Korea and Germany will be sponsored by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung to participate and to share their insights on the topics.
