Guidelines on Performance of Administrative Duties

Derived from the 2019 Decisions of the Supreme Administrative Court

The publication of the Office of the Administrative Courts of Thailand (OAC) supported by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung e.V. in Thailand aims at disseminating current case laws deriving from the decisions of the Supreme Administrative Court in the year 2019. The target readers are administrative judges, administrative case officials, administrative agencies as well as government officials. The KAS hopes that this publication will be a useful tool for the officials’ performance development and that it will contribute to reducing the number of administrative disputes.

Die Publikation verlegt von dem College of Local Administration der Khon Kaen Universität zielt darauf ab, den Entwicklungsprozess zur „Smart City“ der Khon Kaen Provinz zu beschreiben, in der jede Einheit von Regierungsbüros und Privatsektoren bis zu den Bürgern versammelt wurde, um das erhoffte Modell zu verwirklichen. Die Auskünfte werden von den Autoren sehr gut in Ordnung zusammengestellt und sind eine wirklich nützliche Quelle für Regierungsbeamte, Akademiker, den privaten Sektor, und auch die breite Öffentlichkeit für ihre weiteren Studien und Forschungen im Bereich der Etablierung der „Smart City“.

Die Datenschutz-Grundverordnung in thailändischer Sprache

In Zusammenarbeit mit Privacy Thailand, einer zivilgesellschaftlichen Organisation, die sich mit Datenschutzfragen befasst, um das Bewusstsein zu schärfen und die Entwicklung der thailändischen Gesellschaft zu fördern, zielt diese von der KAS unterstützte Publikation daher darauf ab, Verbreitung der Kenntnisse über die DSGVO oder die Datenschutz-Grundverordnung der Europäischen Union als neuer internationaler Standard und Musterinstrument zum Schutz der Bürgerrechte für Juristen in staatlichen Behörden und Mitarbeiter in Wirtschaftsverbänden in Thailand sowie für Jurastudenten / Experten, Akademiker, Medien und die breite Öffentlichkeit zu versorgen.

The Constitutional Readers 2019

This Thai-English publication published by the Office of the Constitutional Court of Thailand aims to gather and publicise academic articles as well as legal opinions relating to constitutional laws and other relevant constitutional issues from various papers that were presented at international conferences by the president and justices of the constitutional court of the Kingdom of Thailand. The publication will be a significant source for both Thai and foreign lawyers, legal students and lecturers, academics, and interested people.

The Constitutional Court Rulings 2017-2018

Due to the period of political and constitutional reforms in Thailand, this publication published by the Office of the Constitutional Court of Thailand consists of the summaries of the Constitutional Court Rulings No. 1-3/2560 of the year 2017 with a total of three cases and the Constitutional Court Ruling No. 1-8/2561 of the year 2018 with a total of seven cases in both English and Thai languages. The summaries compiled here provide a comprehensive overview for Thai and foreign readers, researchers, and parties concerned on the development of the Constitutional Court’s jurisprudence and constitutional case adjudication.

New Angle Look on Decentralisation towards the Local Administrative Organisations

Intending to develop and provide guidelines for strengthening the local administration, this publication compiles many worth-studying articles concerning issues of decentralisation, local administration reform, and reviews of local administration development. Ziel ist es, die Gerichtsbeamten und interessierten Personen über die geänderten Details des Gesetzes auf dem Laufenden zu halten, damit sie es als korrekte Quelle für ihre weiteren Aktivitäten oder Missionen verwenden können. Ebenfalls im Buch ist die Regel der Generalversammlung des Richters des Obersten Verwaltungsgerichts B.E. 2543 (2000), geändert durch die Änderung Nr. 8 in B.E. 2562.

The publication by Chiang Mai University’s two academic centres – Urban Design and Environmental Studies Centre and Social Research Institute – will provide target readers, which consist of local government officials, community leaders, and citizens, knowledge and practical global case studies to be applied with local contexts.
