It seeks to attract attention to recent developments in society and economy, which influence the European present and future.Thus, it follows the long-term goal of the Centre of
European Studies supported by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung as well as long-term research intents of the Faculty of International Relations at the University of Economics in Prague, the Czech Republic. The conference is aimed at introducing recent trends in the governance research and conduct. It should encourage further specific research as well as its application in policy and decision making process, both in the Czech Republic and in Europe.
