Details
The workshop aims to:
(i) prescribe solutions to improve quality of the verification of State and local budget settlement. This activity will contibute to revising and amending the Law on State Auditing, the Law on State Budget and other legal documents on public finance and state budgets.
(ii) provide the elected deputies with information on legal documents, update them the oversight and supervision of State and local budget verification.
(iii) create a forum for delegates from the NA’s Finance and Budget Committee, Department of Finance and Budget and Economic and Budgetary Sectors of People’s Councils to exchange experiences, knowledge and skills in inspecting, analyzing and verifying public spending as well as building data base on State and local budget settlement.
