The Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation sees its collaboration with CEDEM in the project “Strengthening regional judiciary cooperation through multi-sectorial approach” as perfectly fitting with its priorities and commitment in the region. Thanks to the coordination of national researchers on the specific topic of judicial cooperation in criminal matters, it has been possible to compare the practices and status of development in this field in different Western Balkans countries. The legal framework both at the international and the national level has been scrutinized, and the procedures of cooperation at the EU level were investigated in the perspective of a successful fight against transnational crime and corruption.
