Wohnungs(bau-)politik gehört zu den Top-Themen unserer Zeit. Unsere dreiteilige Serie „Monitor Wohnen“ beleuchtet das Thema aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven. Der dritte Teil belegt/bestätigt, dass bereits eine Vielzahl an Maßnahmen existiert, die versucht, bezahlbaren Wohnraum nachhaltig zu fördern. Allerdings zeigt sich auch, dass nicht alle Instrumente dafür geeignet sind.

Kriegspropaganda, Kirchenkonflikt und globale Konsequenzen

Das Argument Putins und der Russischen Orthodoxen Kirche (ROK), dass in der Ukraine orthodoxe Gläubige geschützt werden müssen, ist nicht nur Teil der russischen Kriegspropaganda und instrumentalisiert die ukrainischen Gläubigen, es hat auch weitergehende Folgen im internationalen Einsatz für Religionsfreiheit. Der Krieg in der Ukraine im angeblichen Schutz verfolgter Christen unterwandert auch die Menschenrechtsagenda internationaler Akteure und sollte kritisch hinterfragt werden.

Ausgehend von den Wahltagsbefragungen und Umfragen im Vorfeld der Wahl werden u. a. die Bedeutung der Einschätzungen von Spitzenkandidatinnen und -kandidaten, Parteikompetenzen sowie die Beurteilung von Leistungen der Regierung für das Wahlergebnis erläutert.

Seit Ende der 1970er-Jahre wird im deutschen Sprachraum über gendergerechte Sprache diskutiert. Die Zurückdrängung des generischen Maskulinums stößt zunehmend auf Kritik. Beklagt werden eine neue Unübersichtlichkeit und Uneinheitlichkeit, ein Verfall sowie eine Sexualisierung von Sprache als auch neue Formen von Ausgrenzung und Diskriminierung. COP26: A Small Step Forward on Climate Protection

The outcomes of COP26: a spirit of optimism on the global carbon markets and unresolved questions around climate finance. 

COP26 took place from 31 October to 12 November 2021 in Glasgow, Scotland. Expectations were high, because in the run-up to the conference there were signs of a growing social awareness of climate change.
