Our aim is to raise awareness about the importance of environmental issues and to promote sustainability. As we are trying to produce a series of cartoons/comic strips by end of the year, an interest in environmental issues is essential.

Possible topics could be: Waste/recycling/energy/pollution/natural resources/sustainability etc.

Submission format: Format and length should be similar to classic newspaper cartoons and can be in the form of a single illustration or a short series of pictures. Any text has to be in English (we can help translate it). Please make sure that your name(s) and the title of the comic or cartoon appears on every piece of artwork.

You can send us up to five cartoons/comic strips, either hand drawn or digital. All material needs to be submitted digitally on the following e-mail address: Skopje@kas.de or personally at the KAS office.

The winning cartoon/comic strip will be published on the KAS website. The copyright of all published material will remain with the KAS.

You will receive 200 Euro for each piece of work that we will publish.
