A publicação As relações entre Peru e Brasil (1826-2012) é o resultado de uma pesquisa da autoria de Fabián Novak e Sandra Namihas sobre a evolução das relações diplomáticas entre Peru e Brasil, sendo de vital importância por propiciar uma melhor compreensão sobre a relação entre ambos os países, além de apresentar fatores que podem contribuir para o fortalecimento e a consolidação de tal relação no futuro.

From November 2011 to March 2014, Daniel Edler Duarte was the first Konrad Adenauer Fellow in European Studies at the FGV International Relations Center, hosted at CPDOC. Throughout this period, in addition to deepening the work in his field of studies – immigration and security in the European Union -, he has joined different study groups in the Center and participated in diverse academic activities promoted by CPDOC/FGV and by KAS.

This contribution´ focus is the European security and defence. This is a topic which relates directly to the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) of the European Union (EU). While the former was formally established by the Maastricht Treaty in 1992, as part of the reinvention undergone by the European project in the sequence of the end of the Cold War, the latter dates back to 1999 when the European Security and Defence Policy (ESDP), the antecessor of CSDP, was formally established.
