Book Launch - Foundation Office Brazil
Book presentation
Details
The Konrad Adenauer Foundation invites to the launch of the book “Socioeconomic Panorama of Brazil", in which these and other issues will be considered. The authors present their perspectives on aspects of Brazil's economic and social policy considering different areas such as fiscal policy, labor market and social development, among others.
One day after the first round of the presidential election, we also plan to use the platform to discuss challenges, opportunities and alternative instruments of economic and social policies of the next government. For Brazil, much is at stake. Recession and high unemployment are terms that are already part of the Brazilian reality. To foster economic growth with long-term sustainability, aspects such as the role of the Central Bank, the different methods to increase productivity and the role of Brazil in the global market will be the subjects of this discussion.
