Am 15. September, dem Internationalen Tag der Demokratie, wird in den Räumlichkeiten des brasilianischen Anwälteverbands OAB von Rio Grande do Sul um 19 Uhr brasilianische Zeit das Buch "Politische Parteien und Demokratie: ihre Rolle, Leistung und Organisation in einer globalen Perspektive" vorgestellt werden. Dieses wurde von der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) herausgegeben.

Release of the Brazilian Public Security Yearbook - Special Edition Elections 2022
Within the framework of the 16th Brazilian Public Security Forum (FBSP), the Brazilian Public Security Yearbook - Special Edition Elections will be launched. The book was published in August 2022 and is the result of the partnership between Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) and FBSP. At this table, selected authors will talk about the regions where rates of violence and public security provide relevant data to illustrate and analye the national scenario.

With this objective, KAS Brazil, in partnership with PSDB-Women and Teotônio Vilela Institute, will hold a training seminar for 50 pre-candidates to the federal and state legislature, on July 07th and 08th, in Belém (Pará).

After two years of online activities, the forum will meet in Santarém (Pará) to define common paths for the sustainable development of the Amazon.
The Sustainable Amazon Forum aims to promote productive dialogues between different sectors of society with the potential to reduce differences and act in a collaborative and purposeful way to encourage sustainable development in the Amazon.
