Key Challenges for Emerging and Matured Economies

On December 6th, 2014, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Shanghai organized an international conference on „Global Fiscal Monetary Policy Outlook: Key Challenges for Emerging and Matured Economies”. The conference was planned and executed in cooperation with KAS Shanghai’s close partner, the Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (SUIBE). Experts from academia and praxis discussed ways and means to sustain public finance and derived perspectives for a global financial architecture.

International Symposium: Regulation and Reform of Financial Markets

Sino-European Reform Approaches in Comparison

The KAS Shanghai cooperated with the German-Sino Institute of Legal Studies at Nanjing University to organize an international symposium on November 27th and 28th. Its topic was “Regulation and Reform of Financial Markets: Sino-European Reform Approaches in Comparison”. Chinese and international experts discussed the status quo and challenges for reform measures in financial markets regulation from a European and Chinese perspective.
