Upon official invitation a delegation of Konrad Adenauer Foundation (Climate Policy and Energy Security Programme for Sub-Saharan Africa in Yaoundé) visited the Minister of Water and Energy of Cameroon, his Excellency Atangana Kouna.

At the occasion Professor Ruppel presented the Foundation and the objectives of its new regional programme. The MINEE Master Plan on renewable energies was briefly discussed and also the apparent need of a more elaborate regulatory framework in the context of energy security.

The Minister assured the Cameroonian Governments support to the new KAS programme. Both KAS and the Ministry are committed to intensify their work relationship through concrete projects, strengthening institutional capacity and in the formulation of energy policies and strategies.
