The show "Tema Livre" of the National Radio (Rio de Janeiro) organized a discussion round on May 6, 2016, and asked the guests what can be expected from the new climate agreement, signed on April 22 by 175 heads of state in a ceremony held at the United Nations (UN) in New York. The so-called Paris Agreement aims to control climate change and there is a possibility of the an early entry into force of this covenant, schedule for 2020.
Participated in this discussion the Project Manger of the Regional Program Energy Security and Climate Change in Latin America of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, Karina Marzano, the Professor of International Relations at the University Research Institute of Rio de Janeiro (Universidade Cândido Mendes), João Ricardo Viegas, the Professor of Negotiation and Conflict Resolution at the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), Yann Duzert. And, by phone, Professor journalist and creator of the Environmental Journalism course at PUC-Rio, André Trigueiro.

On December 12, 2016, the show "Tema Livre" followed up the debate, with discussions about what has actually been done by the countries that signed the climate agreement, adopted by consensus exactly one year earlier, in the French capital.
