Buch Tree of Hope

Wie wir die Welt verändern können

Am 26. November 2015 wurde das Medienpaket Tree of Hope im Kanzleramt der Öffentlichkeit präsentieren, im Beisein von Kanzleramtsminister Peter Altmaier. Youthinkgreener aus 15 Ländern (Ägypten, Deutschland, Indien, Italien, Kolumbien, Kosovo, Kroatien, Namibia, Nepal, Neuseeland, Peru, Russland, Serbien, Spanien und Türkei) waren zu Gast, ebenso renommierte Persönlichkeiten aus Wissenschaft, Politik, Wirtschaft und Zivilgesellschaft. Diese Initiative wurde von EKLA-KAS gefördert.

Energy experts from Latin America in Germany and at the COP21 in France

Berlin & Paris

By invitation of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, energy experts from Latin America participated in a technical visit to Berlin and Paris from 24.11 to 02.12.2015 to better understand the German and European work on climate policies. In close collaboration with the KAS office in Paris, they discussed the role of France as host of COP21 and the close cooperation between Germany and France. The studies and dialogue program was organized by the team "Inlandsprogramme" of the KAS and was accompanied by Dr. Christian Hübner, head of the Regional Program EKLA-KAS.

“Climate Change, We’re All Responsible”, an event organized by the European Union Delegation in Brazil, WWF-Brazil and Planetarium Foundation Rio de Janeiro was supported by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, which was responsible for organizing the panel discussions on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency.

II ENERGY SECURITY WORKSHOP

The Second Energy Security Workshop was held on October 28th and 29th at the Windsor Plaza Hotel in Rio de Janeiro. This time, the newly created KAS energy Network (Transatlantic Group) participated represented by five German professionals and scholars specialized in energy from different subjects. Latin America had politic and scholars representatives from Brazil, Mexico and Venezuela.

III Conferencia Latino Alemana de Energía

Con la presencia de más de 60 representantes entre políticos, empresarios y académicos especializados en el sector energético, industrial y minero de Alemania y países de Latinoamérica como México, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Uruguay, Brasil, Chile, Perú y por su puesto el país anfitrión Colombia se realizó en la ciudad de Medellín la III Conferencia Latino Alemana de Energía , la cual fue organizada por el Programa Regional de Seguridad Energética y Cambio Climático en América Latina de la Fundación Konrad Adenauer, Pflüger International , LAV y la Cámara de Comercio Colombo Alemana.
