Der Erfolg politischer Parteien hängt in hohem Maße von deren Fähigkeit ab, sich als Organisation gut aufzustellen. Im Rahmen der Parteienförderung der KAS haben eine Generalsekretärin und sechs Generalsekretäre afrikanischer politischer Parteien vom 8.-12. Mai 2023 an einem Informationsprogramm in Berlin und Düsseldorf teilgenommen.

With our Cafe Kyiv we do not only show solidarity with Ukraine, but one year after Russia's war of aggression we deal with questions and demands for support and reconstruction of Ukraine together with numerous partner organizations. It is about freedom, Europe and security. Through art, history, films, cuisine and the creative scene, we want to get to know Ukraine anew and hear its diverse voices.

On February 17, 2023, the Middle East and North Africa Department of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) hosted for the first time a roundtable discussion at the MSC premises in the Bayerischer Hof as part of the Munich Security Conference (MSC). The invitation of the KAS Chairman, former Bundestag President Professor Norbert Lammert, to an evening event on the topic "A New Club Méditerranée? The Eastern Mediterranean from Rivalry to Rapprochement" was accepted by high-ranking decision makers from politics, military, diplomacy and think tanks from Greece, Turkey, Lebanon, Israel and Egypt as well as from numerous European states.

Perspectives and Challenges of the Franco-German Partnership

"More ambitions - less contentment", this was the demand of the chairman of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) and former president of the German Bundestag, Prof. Dr. Norbert Lammert, during the event "60 Years Élysée-Treaty - Perspectives and Challenges of the Franco-German Partnership", organized by the European Office of the KAS on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Élysée Treaty. The aim was to evaluate ways to strengthen the strained relations between Germany and France and to intensify their alliance, which underpins the unity of the EU.
