Interview with Dr. Siddharth Tripathi on the upcoming EU-India Summit

The upcoming EU-India summit is highly important, particularly in light of the uncertainties and developments in international politics. The strategic partnership and cooperation between the two actors can contribute to a safer world, for example in the field of disarmament and nonproliferation, maritime security, counter-terrorism and cybersecurity.

This approach has been highlighted in the document: "EU-India Strategic Partnership: A Roadmap to 2025", which was published after the summit last year. Other important topics at the summit will be trade and the cooperation in the Indo-Pacific.

Our fellow Dr. Siddharth Tripathi, Department International and Security Affairs, is an expert for the Indo-German relations and the Indo-Pacific. In the interview he outlines challenges for the EU and India as "natural partners".
