The Regional Program Political Dialogue South Mediterranean of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS PolDiMed) is pleased to publish its newest study “Assessing Healthcare Systems’ Resilience and Consequences amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic”. This study was conducted in collaboration with the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association (EMEA) to evaluate the status of the healthcare systems in the South Mediterranean region with a focus on six countries: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, and Tunisia.

Nach dreitägiger Beratung verurteilte die Generalversammlung der Vereinten Nationen am 2. März 2022 mit der Resolution (A/ES-11/L.1) den Angriff Russlands auf die Ukraine und damit die Verletzung der von der UN-Charta zu schützenden Prinzipien der staatlichen Souveränität, der territorialen Integrität sowie der Unabhängigkeit. 141 Mitglieder traten für die Werte und Prinzipien der Vereinten Nationen ein und stellten sich solidarisch hinter die Ukraine. 35 enthielten sich der Stimme und 5 stimmten gegen die Resolution der Generalversammlung.

La KAS México exige la liberación inmediata de Félix Navarro y Sayli Navarro

Reiteramos nuestra solidaridad con el pueblo cubano, con las personas privadas ilegalmente de su libertad en Cuba.

La KAS México observa con gran preocupación, la condena a nueve y ocho años de prisión de Félix Navarro y Sayli Navarro respectivamente. Padre e hija fueron detenidos en el marco de las protestas del pasado 11 de julio de 2021 (11J). Su arresto se llevó a cabo el 12 de julio cuando ambos acudieron a la Unidad Policial de Perico en Matanzas, Cuba, para pedir informes sobre un grupo de manifestantes detenido durante las protestas.
