A turning point with unforeseeable consequences

On 14 April 2024, Iran directly attacked Israel militarily for the first time. This Iranian attack is a turning point in the Middle East and dominates the current international debate. While US President Joe Biden, the German government and the G7 are calling for calm and de-escalation, the reaction of the Israeli war cabinet led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is being eagerly awaited. So far, it has not been announced whether and how Israel might react to the Iranian attack.

März 2024, in mitten des heiligen Monats Ramadan, in der Jugendherberge von Tizi Ouzou ein interaktives Quiz veranstaltet. This report presents a comprehensive analysis of the implementation of Law 75/2019 "On Youth", based on monitoring reports conducted by the National Youth Congress since 2021 as part of the Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation Program. The analysis is based on processing a variety of quantitative and qualitative data, highlighting existing challenges and providing recommendations for improving the current situation. Additionally, the report integrates the perceptions of other social actors directly affected by this process, such as civil society organizations, with a focus on youth organizations and young people themselves.
