Several successful audit projects involving student participation are presented and analysed, reinforcing the importance of transparency in the administration of public resources, and above all showing that the active participation of civil society in monitoring the use of public resources is a fundamental attitude, both with regard to institutions dedicated to transparency in particular, and with regard to citizen participation, in a broader sense.
