Book presentation
Details
"This project, realized in close collaboration with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, codifies age-old traditional rules and customs. Its implementation will enhance the integrity of chieftaincy and render traditional rules more transparent”, explains Professor John Sebiyam Nabila, President of the National House of Chiefs.
The Honorable Minister for Chieftaincy and Traditional Affairs, Henry Seidu Danaa, launched together with Professor Nabila the Code of Royal Ethics for Chiefs in Accra. The project is based on a broad literature review of the code of conduct and ethics of traditional institutions in the country as well as a questionnaire filled out by chiefs in all the ten regions of Ghana.
