The European job market stands before of great challenges: Since 2008 unemployment rises without interruption across Europe and reached an unprecedented degree in 2011. In the course of the crisis each national job market chose its own and different development path. It is of outmost importance to take steps in the European level against unemployment and to bring more people into employment. Europe can thus achieve more employment through structural reforms of the national economies and of the national job markets. Yet, there is no right way or right model to create employment. Every state has to make up its own mind on which reforms they want to push for. Flexibility and mobility are two crucial factors that will influence the future European job market. However some crucial question are still unsolved – how can we strengthen and stabilize the national and European job markets?
