Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, Greece Office is organizing in cooperation the Centre of International and European Economic Law (CIEEL) a round-table with the title "The future of the EU in the light of its modern challenges". The event will take place at 17.30 on Friday, 8 June 2018 at the Hotel Grande Bretagne on Syntagma square.

The EU is faced with multiple political, economic and societal challenges. Many voices call for a reorientation of the Union towards the acceleration and further deepening of the integration process, the strengthening of the EU’s presence in the world, but also a return to its core values and principles. Which issues call for an immediate answer and which measures can be taken in order to safeguard and develop the foundations and heritage of the European forefathers on both legal and political level?
