Strengthening the Competences and Abilities of Women MPs at the Indonesian Parliament
Since 2008, KAS in cooperation with his Indonesian partners, has been providing training for female parliament members at national and regional level. This is intended to strengthen the role of women in Indonesian politics.
Social and Ecological Market Economy in the Indonesian Context
In collaboration with the Paramadina University, KAS organized a seminar on the principles of social and ecological market economy for employees and decision-makers of the provincial government of Jakarta. The Governor of Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, referred in his opening remarks to the similarities with the five basic principles of the Indonesian national ideology Pancasila and described the German economic model as an inspiration for economic policy reforms in the Special Capital Region of Jakarta.

With the aim of bringing together experts and decision-makers from Germany and Indonesia for a dialogue on common security interests and strategic challenges for the future, every year KAS Indonesia organizes the Germany-Indonesia Strategic Dialogue in Jakarta in cooperation with the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).

Indonesien ist der größte muslimische Staat der Welt. Mehr als 40 Prozent der Bevölkerung ist unter 24 Jahre. Im Rahmen einer Diskussionsveranstaltung mit Vizepräsident Jusuf Kalla in Jakarta hat sich der stv. Generalsekretär Dr. Gerhard Wahlers daher für ein stärkeres Engagement im Bereich der Jugendförderung ausgesprochen. Die KAS feiert in diesem Jahr ihr 50. Jubiläum in Indonesien.

The Germany-Indonesia Strategy Dialogue, the fruit of collaboration between Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) and Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), was continued through a second workshop in Jakarta that took place on 5-6 November 2018. The main focus of the presentation and discussion is “Maritime Security“.

was held on Friday, 25 May 2018 by Center for the Study of Religion and Culture (CSRC) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, in collaboration with the Alliance of Pesantren for Peace and supported by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung at Grand Cemara Hotel Jakarta.
Seminar on de-radicalization and counterterrorism
Seminar on the role of Pancasila in fighting radicalism and terrorism with specific measures aimed on de-radicalization. Developed in close cooperation with the Trainings Center of the Indonesian Ministry of Home Affairs, more than 350 head of the Satpol-PP units and employees of the Ministry of Home Affairs attended this event.
