Building an Israeli Civil Language – Obstacles and Possibilities - Foundation Office Israel
Seminar
Details
The war in Lebanon amplified problems that Israeli society was already facing – lack of solidarity and isolation among significant portions of its citizens, particularly between Arabs and Jews, and between the centre and the periphery. The conference is to promote a dialogue among educators from the entire country and from all sectors on the possibilities and difficulties of addressing the schism and the rifts between Arabs and Jews, by consistently investing in civil education.
