In the context of this year's Youth Conference for young German and Israeli law students and young lawyers, KAS Israel and the German Israeli Lawyers Association are hosting a joint lecture followed by a workshop on the topic of "Activities of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)" on September 6, in Kibbuz Dalia.

Together with Dr. Alexander Brakel, Director of the KAS Israel office, Rachel Liel, Chairperson of the Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI), and Dr. Lars-Uwe Kettner, Consul at the German Embassy in Tel Aviv, the participants of the program will discuss the activities of NGOs in Israel, the direct impact of the new NGO-law, passed in July 2016, on the organizations' work as well as general question on civil society and rule of law.
