The aim is to consider alternative cultural expressions of acknowledging past harms due to severe human rights abuses. Through the concept of 'Wiedergutmachung', the workshop intends to expand the notions of redress and recognition of responsibility of past abuses of human rights beyond the basic ideas of reparations and reconciliation.
