International KAS Conference

Asset Publisher

From June 18 to 21, 2007 more than 60 scientists, politicians and current as well as former members of armed forces met in Jerusalem. They had been convened by KAS and its partners, the Swiss Center at Hebrew University and the Jerusalem Institute for Israel Studies.

The conference centered around the question which consequences tranformations of armed forces and modern methods of warfare have for peace keeping missions. Also the prospect of possible missions in the Middle East was discussed. Above we are documenting the participants' contributions as abstracts (pdf file).
