The Catholic Center for Studies and Media (CCSM), in cooperation with KAS Jordan Office, holds a workshop on the 30th of January 2016 around Pope Francis’ Encyclical on Climate Change, addressed not only to Christians, but to all of humanity. The aims of the workshop are to promote awareness of the environment and the need to protect it, especially among the youth; to examine the various initiatives launched by Jordan, especially after its participation in the 2015 UN Conference on Climate Change in Paris; and to discuss alternative energy and the extent to which it is replacing conventional energy in Jordan.
