The second in the series of KAS Jordan Research Seminars is hosting a team from Hamburg University headed by Dr. Stefan Voigt, Professor of Law and Economics, who will present the findings of a field study among Syrian refugees in three asylum countries: Germany, Egypt and Jordan. The aim of the study is to identify the effects of trauma experienced on the socio-economic values (e.g. risk-taking, trust, honesty, reciprocity) of Syrian refugees through a series of economic experiments conducted in the field.
